Disillusion’s Smile

Disillusion’s Smile

Vast and void are my thoughts,

Lost  in a haze of disillusion,

Disappointing loss of a prize not rightfully earned; Yet,  freely given,

Heartaches of internal sorrows, Chills of hesitant notions,

I sit with the laughter of hidden tears,

Sighs of contentment leads to deafening fears,

Vast and void are my thoughts,

Lost  in a haze of disillusion,

A mastered smile, Fueled of perfected deception, Aiding  relief  of shielded glass,

Tonic so sweet; the heart eagerly accepts, false smiles of synthetic precedence;
